What do you think of my (different) poem?
I’m only 13, so don’t be too harsh.
This is kind of an annoying hormonal teenager poem…the emotions I express here are sort of shallow. But I hope you like it.
The Mood Swing
Some days I hate the world,
And some days I love life,
One day I want to smile,
And the next I want to cry.
Some days I feel on top of the world,
And some days I live in hell,
One day I know just how I feel,
And the next I just can’t tell.
It’s like one minute I’m up,
And the next I’m down,
One minute I’m flying in the sky,
And the next, falling to the ground.
My feelings are polar opposites,
One or the other extreme,
I’m always either hot or cold,
Unless I’m in between.
It’s kind of like I’m on a swing,
So I try to enjoy the ride,
Just live every day to the fullest,
And make the most out of life.
for real this is good
i like writing poems too
but im not the biggest fan of rhymeing
but you make it work
and like the other peom i feel what you’re saying and grasp it l live through it
you are really goood at this
i am like going to be your biggest fan!

Yeah it’s a typical teenage-type poem, but I really like it anyway!
I’m feeling a lot like that these days..
