O Brother, Where Art Thou? (2000)
IMDB rating: 7.80
Plot: Loosely based on Homer’s ‘Odyssey’ the movie deals with the grotesque adventures of Everett Ulysses McGill and his companions Delmar and Pete in 1930s Mississipi. Sprung from a chain gang and trying to reach Everetts home to recover the buried loot of a bank heist they are confronted by a series of strange characters. Among them sirens, a cyclops, bankrobber George ‘Babyface’ Nelson (very annoyed by that nickname), a campaigning Governor, his opponent, a KKK lynch mob, and a blind prophet, who warns the trio that “the treasure you seek shall not be the treasure you find.”

O Brother where art thou…?
then beware of the gorrilla pit they are strong and may try to take your banana
I just realized the Stars have two sets of brothers currently in their system stars players jamie benn and james neal’s brothers are both prospects in the system (jordie ben and mike neal) what set of brothers does your team have and what set of brothers do you feel are the most famous in the history of the nhl?
BQ: What will the highlight of your weekend be?
then beware of the gorrilla pit they are strong and may try to take your banana
Patrick im house sitting for my parents this weekend ill prob be playing a little nhl 10 on their projector add me man Ol Nuber 56
Casey Bring a tazer and some qualudes…
Stars also had both Hatcher bros at a point…
My Canuckle-heads have one of the most famous sets of brothers, Hank and Danny. Well at least the most famous right now. I think in all of NHL history it would have to be the Espositios.
BQ: I’m just gonna play it low key. I think I’m getting sick! This is BULLSH!T. lol

For Nashville– Mike and Mark Santorelli..
Most famous– Sutter brothers..

Copas > a PhD from NYU | Dec 18, 2009
Flyers had:
Rich & Ron Sutter
Larry & Wayne Hillman
Jussi & Kimmo Timonen
Joe & Jimmy Watson
As for the most famous brothers. Nothing says famous than hockey brothers than the Hansons. A real one that pops into my head is the Bure’s but they are probably not the most famous one I just need to think harder.
BQ: Sitting at home and playing NHL 10′ all weekend. With the 6-12 inches of snow coming up it’s gonna be the laziest days I have ever had since the summer. If i’m not lazy maybe I will go hike a good 3 miles to go visit friends but I don’t know.

I think Copa is correct with the Sutters.
BQ: my wife has this great idea of going shopping on saturday (last saturday before christmas)…… so it’ll be a joyous time.

I don’t think the Wings have any brothers. They have one of a bunch of brothers, Drew Miller, and those brothers are pretty cool. As far as most famous it would be all those Sutters. The Hanson Brothers goes without saying. The Sedin twins, of course. Now THAT’S a brother. I can’t think today. That’s my excuse and I am sticking to it.
BQ: The highlight of my weekend. Hmmmm. Same ole stuff except I have to be at work at three Sunday morning instead of four. Yay! And I get to see the grandkids on Monday.

Damn~ The Emmerton brothers.
I had breakfast with the younger, Corey, before he hit the big league. He played and was friends with my cousin.
;D
Great guy.

The Flyers had the Watson brothers a long time ago. I think the Richard brothers are the most prolific.
The highlight of my weekend is shaping up to be a trek to school in this snow that we’re supposed to be getting. After that’s overwith and I’m free to do as I wish, some lucky lady will be able to take me home and have her way with me.

I can’t think of any offhand for the Leafs, thought they might get another Schenn in the last draft.
BQ - Well, got hit with a pile of artwork this afternoon so it looks like I’ll be trying to get it done this weekend so I can take off next Tuesday for the holidays. Gotta get some Christmas shopping done too.
So no exciting highlight for me.

Tony & Phil Esposito. Peter, Anton & Marion Stastny or what about the legendary tandem of Wayne and Brent Gretzky. The Sutter brothers (already mentioned) but maybe the most overlooked brother tandem has to be Rocket and Henri Richard. There are all kinds of interesting brother combo’s that have played in the NHL….how about Gordie and Vic Howe. Did you know Patrick Roy had a brother who made a small appearance (Stephane…I believe was his name) in the NHL? Or Mark Messier who had a brother who played briefly (cant recall his name at the moment). Then you have the Lindros bros.
But the top 3 have to be: (in no particular oder)
Sutter brothers (Ron,Rich Duane, Darryl,Brent & Brian)
Rocket and Henri Richard
Phil & Tony Esposito
BQ…getting some sleep….flu has wrecked our house all week and I am dog *ss tired!

Wow Jag! I didn’t know that either. I didn’t know that Jamie Benn and James Neal had brothers who are also part of the Stars system. That should be interesting in the next few years to come.
As for the most famous brothers in NHL history, I gotta say the Sedin bros. are. They are very productive on the ice together and they both provide good leadership. When you have two bros. on the ice together, there’s always gonna be some sort of comfort level.
BQ: I have three highlights.
One, I’m gonna be going to a Christmas party tomorrow night. Looking forward to it =)
Second, I can’t wait to see the Stars take down the Wings tomorrow afternoon.
Third, I hope my Boys take down the undefeated Saints.
